Choosing the Right Aeration System

Selecting the right system depends on factors like aquatic vegetation levels, the desired visual effect, and the available power supply. For water quality management, aeration systems should provide at least 2.2 lbs (1 kg) of oxygen per horsepower hour and pump 400 GPM (86 mÂł/hr) per horsepower. We recommend 2 HP per surface acre when using these products for water quality improvement.
